Merano Lounge Armchair

Merano Lounge Armchair by the Czech manufacturer Ton, designed by Alexander Gufler. The Merano collection is built around an enveloping moulded plywood shell and sharp leg lines, unified by a fully glued construction that holds without a single screw. The series has been awarded the Red Dot and Good Design distinctions.

This version pairs an oak veneer shell with four solid oak legs of square section. Seat and back are upholstered and covered in a brick-orange leather, the seat trimmed with piping. The low back opens into a central cut-out between the shell and the seat.
